The weekend of August 8-9th was a blurry mess of warm beers, sweaty show-goers, awkward Airbnb encounters, and a plethora of various punk-related bands. The Masquerade, a legendary Atlanta venue, celebrated its 25th anniversary this year by hosting the inaugural Wrecking Ball Festival. Scattered among the venue’s four stages, the festival featured upwards of 60 bands, one karaoke pre-show, and two intimate late night after shows. This is some of what we saw that weekend.
